Restore FusionPBX Providers Page

Overview

Unfortunately, earlier this year FusionPBX decided to end our long standing Skyetel/FusionPBX partnership. In so doing, they deleted references to Skyetel from their website and from their PBX.

Many of our customers rely on the Providers page to add Skyetel to their PBX. This guide shows you how to do that.

Please Note

This guide will work unless the FusionPBX developers alter something in FusionPBX's configuration to intentionally break it. We will keep this technique as updated as possible in order to provide you with seamless setups in FusionPBX.

Re-installing Providers

Installing Providers

In order to re-install the Providers page, you will need to SSH into your PBX and run these commands:

cd /usr/src
git clone https://bitbucket.org/skyetel/fusionpbx-providers.git
cd fusionpbx-providers/
mv providers /var/www/fusionpbx/app/
chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/fusionpbx/*

This will add the Providers page back to FusionPBX as it was around March 15, 2020.

Restoring Providers to the Menu

Head over to your FusionPBX server's GUI and navigate to Status -> Menu Manager

Then click "Default"

From here, we need to "Add" a new menu item. To do that, click the "Add" button:

From this, we simply need to restore the URL to the menu:

Title - Providers
Link - /app/providers/providers.php
Target - Internal
Icon - Blank
Parent Menu - Accounts
Groups - superadmin
Protected - True
Description - Providers Page

Then click save. Now, simply log out and back in again, and the Provides Page will be restored:
