In order to be able to send any email notifications for most Skyetel features (For example: SMS, MMS, vFax), you must configure your SMTP settings in our portal.
There are no valid, default defined SMTP settings for your account. The pre-filled values are NOT a valid, working SMTP configuration and only placeholder text values.
You can set this up by logging into your Skyetel Portal and clicking the Settings gears icon in the top right of the Skyetel Portal:
You can then click the SMTP tab and enter your specific SMTP parameters:
